To Maryam Siddiqui, I know that. I also read the Quran. But that doesnt mean that if I am a non-muslim or a muslim, that I wouldnt know to respect those lines. Thank you for your concern though. :)

ok so the paintings the person made are great, but i hate to break it to u but those have the name of our god in islam and lines from the quran, so if u have one of these its like having s pic of jesus in your room, its more than just "pretty calligraphy"

ok first of all, no one said u cant have it if ur a muslim, its called cultural appropriation. u cant just have it randomly its not a piece of decoration! realize that. its not just a piece of art either.also u being a french white girl has nothing to do with what i said. the stain is beautiful and its a wonderfull pic. im not trying to insult anyone here. i hate it when ppl treat religion like some old history book, its something ppl are believing in rn, its not like a museum where u look at old religons and draw wisdom from. there is nothing wrong with learning about islam, its just that u have to treat it well. idk if u r a muslim or not, but i never meant to sound like that.

ok, because the thing is that ppl may not realize that these pieces hold religious value, as one is not supposed to put stuff like this on the ground or even touch it when they do not have wudu (search it up). these are words from the quran and hold a lot of religious value its actually really disrespectful to put those up for "decoration". iqra is literally the first word that was revealed to our prophet (pbuh). pls do NOT put these up for decoration, r u even a muslim?! this is exactly what cultural appropriation means. just like cornrows arent JUST a hairstyle, this calligraphy isnt JUST some pretty words

This one means "read" "iqra" and was made to look like an open book, so simple yet effective. As it means an "entrance" too, it is in my entrance and i love to be welcomed by this when i come home. Why not? Yes they have. And? I got a lot of art all over my walls: mashaallah, iqra the first reveal and so on and so on. I m not good enough to own these art pieces? I'm a french white girl?
