Load More Replies...I'll take it! Adaptive (Healthy) Perfectionist "You like things shiny but refuse to lose sleep over smudges. Flexibility is your secret ingredient, letting you adjust recipes without tossing the cookbook. Because you value growth over glare, setbacks become springboards. Keep balancing care with chill!"
I used to be fussy. Kids, pets, and spouse have dulled that blade. I'm "adaptive" now.

That's pretty much spot on. I subscribe to the belief that "Perfect is the enemy of good".
Organizing your bookshelf. By genre/ category/ topic/ author. However I did get Adaptive (Healthy) Perfectionist.
I couldn't get my head around the clouds. I'm a perfectionist to a fault according to family, friends and colleagues and I also love just looking at clouds. The choice between "whatever", "a beautiful as a painting" or some weird perfect cloud sculpture thing threw me off balance far more than it should. I'm getting myself a cup of tea to reclaim my sanity 🙃
So apparently for me -- Satisficer You embrace the mighty “meh, that’ll work” and march on happily. Imperfections tell stories, and you’d rather live the story than edit every sentence. Time not spent fussing is time earned for laughter, naps, or impromptu adventures. Just keep an eye on the essentials—typos in legal docs still matter! -- Absolutely fair, but I do make sure my legal docs don't go out with typos, thank you very much. I do have *some* standards.
Don't use "spectrum" to mean gradient!! It really causes problems with Autism Spectrum Disorder for people to think that "spectrum" means a gradient from mild to severe. It does not mean that. Think of the color spectrum. Is that a gradient? No. "Spectrum" does not mean gradient. God, I wish BP would read the comments (and actually take them into account), but clearly they never do. Shame on Daria Ives.
I already know -- one of my mottoes is "It doesn't have to be perfect."
Perfectionism is a malady people made into some sort of virtue. Maybe a perfectionist can give you exactly what you asked them for, but you probably wont realise it cost them so much worry, fussing and second guessing. And they will probably still feel they failed somehow or didn't do enough. I've been there.
I remember when Buzzfeed went from actual news to quizzes.... now I'm sad.
Well given I’d be in none of those situations I got the right outcome , the meh that will do one satficicer one what ever that is meh , perfection is toxic it’s exhausting, oh h the grammer one had me laughing cos of all the bloody grammer cops on here 😂
