Animal Welfare Is Not A Luxury: One Among Many Stories
This is Inayet and Bura! About a week ago someone had abused and tormented Bura (four-legged) with a branch, causing an injury to Bura’s right hind leg. Next to him is Bura’s best friend, Inayet (two-legged) – a rickshaw puller who buys a packet of Energy biscuit for Bura every morning when he comes in for work. Inayet had been frantically searching for Obhoyaronno representatives for the past 3 days to report Bura’s case and injuries; he was willing to provide his own expenses for the medicine and treatment required. Due to his kindness, timeliness and care, Bura was immediately tended to by the Obhoyaronno staff. Bura is now happy and well and back to his old antics!
One of Obhoyaronno’s goals is to spread the notion that Animal Welfare is NOT A LUXURY. Stories like these truly showcase how crucial everyone is to the welfare of the furry, scaly and feathery friends around us!
