Sophie Corrigan adds clever wordplay to adorable animal illustrations. The UK-based freelance illustrator has released a series of cool drawings, some of which have already been made into greeting-cards, of cute animals and funny sayings.
"I really enjoy coming up with my own cute puns, and I adore animals, so it just felt like a natural thing to me to combine [them]" - Sophie told Bored Panda. "My main goal is to illustrate children's books, and the publicity these animal pun illustrations have given me has helped me to be seen by publishers."
Corrigan has a degree in illustration from the University of Central Lancashire, and is currently studying for her Masters Degree in Children's Book Illustration. Her funny pun artworks have been stocked by Paperchase, Urban Outfitters, Hot Topic, and ASOS.
