Couple Recreate Their Engagement In Animal Crossing, People Think It’s One Of The Most Best Uses Of The Game

The pandemic has affected pretty much every aspect of our lives. From our relationships to our employment–things haven’t been the same since the outbreak, and it’s unclear when everything is going back to normal. One of the unlucky ones are people who had special events, such as weddings, planned or in the process of planning during this unfortunate time. However, while we are forced to cancel these important moments in our lives it doesn’t mean we can’t find other ways to celebrate them.

That’s exactly what this lovely couple–Arabella Villanueva and Sam Redus decided to do. They got engaged last year in September and already started planning the wedding. However, the pandemic disrupted their plans. “Because of COVID-19, we are unable to meet with venues and vendors to plan our wedding. We’re wondering if gatherings like that would even be possible in our new normal after this, so things are up in the air right now,” Arabella told Bored Panda.
With wedding plans placed on hold, the couple decided to find different ways to celebrate their relationship and they came up with a brilliant idea: recreating their engagement photos on Animal Crossing. “We first got the idea to recreate our engagement photos when we built Blather’s Museum and saw how beautiful the butterfly center was. We took photos in a butterfly center as well. When I saw that the Able Sisters were selling the exact shoes we wore, we knew it was time to customize our whole outfits and recreate the photos,” Arabella told said.
