When I ventured to Iceland for the first time, I was immediately struck by the spell I was under when I gazed across the ethereal and almost mythical landscape of this land of fire and ice. The country’s poetic beauty offered a complexity of wonder that gave me a wonderful complex of photographic vision as an artist. My odyssey of indelible moments left me lost and found as a photographer. Iceland became one dream away from paradise to me.

Given how otherworldly and hauntingly serene Iceland felt to me, I soon realized that my camera offered me a compass to capture the essence of this land in counter-intuitive ways. I would gently but boldly leap into a parallel world using both monochrome and muted colour metallics to try to give my photos an almost multidimensional quality by using various conventional and long exposure techniques.

Iceland is a place that I plan to visit many times in my lifetime.
