These are my original paintings that I create by filling the canvas randomly with color (either by pouring or using alcohol ink), then, I let my imagination fill in. I have “seen things in inanimate objects/abstract patterns” for as long as I can remember. I’m a cancer survivor and a trauma survivor, both experienced starting in my early childhood. I cope daily with my partial blindness, pain management and mindset, but I feel that I’m doing fairly well considering these things. Discovering this outlet in painting has been a part of my coping and a revealing of my innerself.

I started painting about 2 years ago after taking it up as recreation with my son and husband (our ages are 33, 13 and 30) our works (and probably most imp, ressively, my young son’s creations) can also be found on Instagram @cosmicsynopsis.
