DAY 24 WITH LOLA: MOTHER AND DAUGHTER : We wish equality in every way. Wealth, race and skin color should not be a menace or a problem to any human being. We are all the same, never mind who or how we are.

DAY 23 WITH TERESA: Life is very easy, but we make it very difficult. Then the fight goes on. We must fight for love in order to be loved. Be better, much better, and try to help others as much as you can. Love God more, and those who love God love each other more.

DAY 22 WITH ROSA: Each person according his likes has to choose what is the most important for him or her. I believe everyone in life has something. Something, what fills up, what leads to happiness or to wish to help its own family. I have helped my family. And because I felt happy helping them, they were happy too.

DAY 21 WITH LUISA: Everyone should have a plate of food every day. I was born in the post-war period and it was difficult times, there was a lot of hunger. When Christmas comes, I get excited remembering the past and I give thanks for the present and for having my children with me.

DAY 20 WITH CARMEN: I learn every day from young people, they teach me their enthusiasm, their involvement to work. They give me joy and hope for a better world.

DAY 19 WITH ANTONIA: I really don’t understand so many bad things that are happening. We have to be better, and behave and get on with one another. I’d like everybody to stop to fight. For next year I wish above all health. It’s the first. And that there are no dislikes among anyone.

DAY 18 WITH MARÍA: My advice would be: do not do what you would not want others to do for you. If you think this way many things would be different.

DAY 17 WITH LOLI: What I want for the world is that there should be more love around us. People should love each other. If that is achieved, life will be much easier and more beautiful.

DAY 16 WITH SOCORRO: I wish that people in the world could live well, do not get upset, and that they treat themselves as best they can. It is a short time we are here in life and then we leave. Good things must be done in life.

DAY 15 WITH LOLA: Wishes for next year could be that we’d have a very happy year and that we don’t get poorly. With that I have enough. We have to be as good as possible to each other. It’s very important. We have be careful with the planet and everything surrounds us.

DAY 14 WITH ASCENSIÓN: I learned that it is never too late to have illusions, the elders also have them. This year we have celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary. I never thought it would be so beautiful. After so many years together we continue loving each other as the first day or more. It was a wonderful day!

DAY 13 WITH SISTERS GRACIA Y LOLI: We wish every one of us to be more human, to have understanding towards others. We wish we have empathy with others, and do not forget to hear. These days people listen but don’t hear. Nowadays nobody hear anyone.

DAY 12 WITH CARMEN: I would love next year to be like this one. Although bad things are happening every day, we want to eat each other, I believe in the future. We have to have a medicine because the world is very beautiful, it is wonderful.

DAY 11 WITH MARIA TERESA: I would wish for people to be very honest, to always tell the truth, to listen more, not to worry so much whatever awaits us. Because life is presented day by day. Now. For me it is today and now.

DAY 10 WITH ANA: Let us overcome everything that comes, bad or good. There is no shame when the family is united, when children and grandchildren love each other very much. It is the most beautiful thing I celebrate.

DAY 9 WITH PILAR: The most important thing that happened to me this year – I dressed in a mantilla (Spanish traditional headdress) during Semana Santa and they gave me a diploma to the eldest dressed woman in Antequera, I don’t remember the date but I see the photos and I’m very happy.

DAY 8 WITH MILAGROS: I would like young people not to think that they have absolute control over life, but that it is life that will show them that it is not so easy. I observe a lack of values. The communication mode is changing. Young people only know how to communicate through networks and then face to face they don’t know how to talk, they don’t know how to manage love and love is missing.

DAY 7 WITH MARIA: Do not leave for tomorrow what you can do today. Because tomorrow you will not have a chance. Don’t always have that regret with “I have to do that, but…” Do it. A visit or a help. Tomorrow we do not know. Today. Because tomorrow that person is not there, or you can’t go anymore. Because things change you and days change running.

DAY 6 WITH LUISA: This year I learned to live with what I have, thanking God for being healthy, for having my daughters and my parents and siblings. Life passes quickly and you have to take advantage of every moment.

DAY 5 WITH ROSARIO: For young people I will give them a piece of advice: just live every day doing everything you can. Never have a pity for the elderly, help them from time to time keeping them a company.

DAY 4 WITH ANA MARIA: Today there is no dialogue, what is the main thing. There isn’t any even at home. Because there is a lot of technology. Tablets, computers, TVs, which every child has his TV set in his bedroom. It is that couples are seen in bars sitting with theirs mobiles in their hands. I don’t know what dialogue there is? As there is no dialogue, there is no life.

DAY 3 WITH MARI CARMEN: For everyone I want health and that we all continue in the same way we have been this year. For those people who are going through bad times, I wish them to have the strength to move forward.

DAY 2 WITH MONTSE: It is not always the way you see it. There is something beyond. I think life is made up of short or long phases, each with its own times and its own moments. And we leave each one behind us, each one passes by.

DAY 1 WITH TERESA: I care about youth, and for the very bad future. I worry about climate change, because I am older and I think about my grandchildren and what future they may have.
