Stray Puppies Won’t Stop Hugging Each Other Since They Were Rescued
198Kviews
Two stray puppies have recently been adopted by Buddhist nuns in a pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and the two haven’t stopped hugging each other ever since. Though the bigger pup still looks too tiny and helpless to even take care of himself, he keeps on holding his younger friend dearly in protection.
One can’t help but wonder what the two have experienced in the streets before being taken in the temple that has made them look so scared and vulnerable. Luckily, the two are in good hands now. They’re getting used to their new home and even trying to learn meditation from the nuns. Just look at that Zen pose! Everything will be alright.

These two stray puppies were wandering lost and confused in the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Everyone ignored them until Buddhist nuns saw them and decided to take the pups in their temple
The bigger pooch kept on holding his younger friend dearly in protection
One can’t help but wonder what the two have experienced in the streets
But now with every day the two nuggets are becoming more confident
Because now they’re in safe hands
And with every day the bigger pup is getting more and more relaxed
Because he knows that now he has someone to hold his paw, too

I'm calling BS on this ridiculously naive story. In every photo the puppies are being made to sit or stand upright - it's completely unnatural and staged. Here's what I think happened: these two puppies were near the temple, starving and desperate. They were taken inside, given a bowl of rice and some water, made to repeatedly pose for a sequence of absurd photos showing them hugging and standing, all for the amusement of the people there, and then forgotten and possibly regarded as a nuisance. No more rice, no deworming or anything else they obviously need. And one or both puppies has/have since died through neglect. Am I right?
I also question why are the sitting up on every picture. This is unnatural. The rest is subject for speculation. But there is a strong sense of fear in the eyes of these dogs, like they are more fearful then hungry. ... by the way, stray dogs that I have seen don't look so scared, they look more apathetic. This is unnatural for these photos.
And the way shes sitting next to him and hes stuk in that position soon as i see this i thought theres somthink rong with his back like he carnt move
And always against a wall they carnt be alive now theres somthink really not wright about that :(:(:(
Beth Hall Barbara · Chandlersville, Ohio i have a question??? it you look at the second picture from the bottom the little brown one looks scared.and look at him there is fear in his face and if you look the woman is only part of her hand and a long stick ...then in the last one he is sitting so still not looking at her and she has a stern look on her face at him.i hope these are investigated before you believe them.because all of the pictures are taken in same house. the little brown one does not even make eye contact with her that has me worried.did anyone else notice?
even i feel d same.. :(
I sadly agreed. It sometime depressed me so much how many animals being abused ny human&to abuse those said human.
Wtf? :)) you should go to school for study about the way to know how's difference between Vietnam and China before u wrote this . This dogs been grow up in Vietnam's pagoda. Sadly that 1 of them just gone . Plzzzz become a good newspaperwoman
Do you know the name of the temple? I may pass by and see if the older one is indeed there or back on the streets. If the latter, then I'll adopt him
could you please find out. Adopt both of them
Please let us know about these puppies if you can.
I guess the lil' black one didn't make it? In the pics it looks ill and far too young to be separated from it's mom. They also seem to have worms, which reduces the chance for survival even further. But I'm glad one of them made it and has a reasonably nice home. It's a very tough life for dogs (and other animals) on the street. And now I need to go cuddle my own pooch who has never known anything but love in her whole life (and never will!)
This is really sad!!!!! The small pup could have been wormed and lived my baby was not even 1 lb when I got got her but we saved her and she was full of worms. Please someone let us know about these babies, Abby-57ac7...ea4d78.jpg
More info and links please?

An Lee, thank you for the link, we've just corrected the article. Sorry once again for our mistake.
nice picture
Hey Vân Trịnh, sorry if we made a mistake, however every source that we check says it happened in China. Do you have a link to an article where it says it's in Vietnam? We'd like to fix the article.
Julija-Do have links saying it was China?
Julija, there is post that the black dog died. Is this truth? :-(
Something is definitely not right with this article. These puppies are not in natural poses. It sickens me to think what they must have done to get them to pose this way and what they're fate was.
