This Engineer Is An Actual Wall Expert And She Just Destroyed Trump’s Wall Proposal In One Post
Debates across the U.S over President Trump’s border wall finally came to a head in December, resulting in the longest government shutdown in U.S history. And while the partisan issue has mostly swirled around ethical and economic issues, engineer and court-accepted ‘wall expert’, Amy Patrick has entered the ring with a different point – a structural one.

In a detailed Facebook post gone viral, Patrick laid out from an engineering perspective why the wall is “a disaster of numerous types waiting to happen.” No matter what side of the aisle you fall on, you can’t help but realize that if anyone knows what they are talking about on this issue she’s that person. The shutdown isn't about the wall anymore. It's a dementing megalomaniac acting like a petty spoiled brat to get his way. His illusions of grandeur make him think that he's an omnipotent emperor, while in fact he's just being a revengefull dictator.

I snicker when people mention the Great Wall. It actually wasn't intended to keep the Mongols out at all, but it was meant to impede their retreat so that the Chinese army could catch up to them.

Exactly like Obama did to get his ACA passed. He's using a tactic that has worked in the past; just like most people would do. Not defending Trump, I think he and Obama are both awful in their own ways; Trump's faults are just much more in your face, while Obama's were very much under the radar.

Actually if you study the societal and business results post-San Diego wall you will find that it actually helped to control the chaos that both San Diego and Tijuana had been experiencing. There ar3 now homes and businesses on both sides of the border and Tijuana’s economy has skyrocketed with legitimate business. Many Americans actually are living in Tijuana and crossing the border daily to work in US. Check your facts please.

Oh, I do. I just wish it was handled differently. All I have done is say that the Wall itself is going to hurt a butterfly reserve, and possibly even other things. I’m very concerned about any amount of crime that is present in my country.
