As the novel coronavirus rapidly spreads all across the globe, doctors and other health officials are recommending people to go by self- distancing rules and go into self-isolation if possible. While people are trying to follow them as best as possible and still get a pretty decent experience out of this all, some are trying out a little bit more of a creative approach to this new self-distancing life.

Artists from L.A., California, Paco Conde and Roberto Fernandez, came up with an ingenious idea to recreate famous album covers according to our current situation and make them quarantine-appropriate.

The Los Angeles-based collective called Activista created the album cover series 6 Feet Covers. They re-imagined the most iconic album covers to apply to the rules of social distancing. While they put a significant distance between the musicians in the covers, they made sure to keep the iconic aesthetic in tact.

The series contain pieces recognized all over the world such as “Abbey Road” by The Beatles”, Queen’s second album, “Destroyer” by Kiss and many others. It was all done to raise the awareness of the importance of social distancing and the role it plays in flattening the curve in order to aid the healthcare system to keep in tact.
