Dog Whose Owners Abandoned Him At A Gas Station Gets A Full Time Job
Meet a dog named Negão, the cutest gas station employee on the planet. The pooch was abandoned at a petrol stop by his previous owners. Sabrina Plannerer and her partner purchased a Shell gas station under construction in the town of Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil, and when they noticed the wandering doggie, they did something amazing.
“We adopted him immediately and got him all the care animals need,” Plannerer tells The Dodo. “We bought him food, a dog house, and a leash to take him on walks.”
Then, they went a step further – they made Negão a Shell ’employee’ and even gave him a worker’s ID card. The doggie turned out to be a natural when it comes to stellar customer service.
“Negão waits for people to arrive, and then goes up to say hello, winning them over with his charms,” Plannerer says. “Customers love him. Some people even bring him toys.”
The woman says she hopes this positive example will encourage other establishments to adopt.

I think I wished everyone was exactly you guys...you are beautiful !
I would stop to buy gas there if I lived there,I would also take treats/toys for him. My lab/newfi mix looked similar but it's the expressions that are so sweet! Mine also went to work at a business and he was great at welcoming customers! He knew exactly how long to stay when greeting people! I could never abandon any animal but unfortunately it happens everywhere!
awesome story, I would claim him as a dependant, give him a salary and charge room and board with all profits going to the aspca
What a lovely story and it's wonderful that this dog has found home and lots of people who come in and love him. I also hope that it does encourage business to adopt a pet, cat's are especially great for business as they keep the rodent population at bay. I'v e heard that in some countries they are mandatory in food stores. However; to the comments that some people don't deserve pets, I have to say that if you live in a third world country were you can bearly feed your family a pet is the first thing to go, sentiment is not available when you are facing major poverty and hunger. Even in the UK, people are abandoning their pets as they struggle to make ends meet with all the cuts we are facing. Ps I am an animal lover with three cats who I would never throw away and even before I buy food for me and the kids I get there's first as I know I made a choice when I got them. However I know the harsh reality of how some people live and I don't condone but I understand how this happens
