New York City can get pretty bleak in the winter. Lately though the city’s weather has gotten more finicky. Sixty degree weather in January. Freak snow storms in October. No snow for months, then the biggest snow storm you’ve ever seen on the most inconvenient day of your life.
But for me, the best days of winter are spent in Central Park, photographing and videoing the falling snow. This winter, I captured the park in slow motion as snow fell. Last year, I shot the biggest snow storm the city has ever seen, both in the park and around the midtown. Video and photos below.
