For nearly two years, Marcel Taret lived with a question he increasingly believed would never be answered.
His 83-year-old wife, Paulette Landrieux, had vanished from their home in Andenne, Belgium, on November 2, 2020.
She had Alzheimer’s disease and required constant supervision. Marcel had left her alone for only a few minutes while he stepped outside to hang laundry.
