Sharing a bed with another person definitely has its ups and downs. You don’t want to sleep alone because you’ll be lonely, but then your partner starts to snore, move around a lot, flex into weird sleeping positions, and you don’t know what you want anymore… Luckily, you aren’t the only one struggling with these everyday problems and you can always find support in some cartoon drawings if anything else.

According to illustrator Jacob Andrews of For Lack Of A Better Comic, there are six stages of sleeping with another person, and he has put them into funny comics. They’re both hilarious and completely relatable! Take a look below at these funny drawings and let us know if there’s any truth in these relationship cartoons.

I'm fine with sleeping alone :) I'm 25 and never been in a relationship, nor do I want to, at least not at the moment.

Getting two cats and a dog solved this problem. Too hot, they move. Too cold, they cuddle. They don't sweat. If I get restless they just leave.

I started sleeping separate from my husband of 16 yrs a few months ago, because I can only sleep on my back and that gets uncomfortable.. But I found that sleeping sitting up but reclining a bit is quite comfortable, and because I'm not just laying in a dark room, uncomfortable and increasingly frustrated by my inability to sleep, the constantly repeating racing thoughts, and my husbands snoring... Now I just sit here and read, if I don't get sleepy, I just keep chilling out... Eventually I just fall asleep, or close my eyes when they are too tired to focus and fall asleep if I'm lucky... But if I don't sleep that night, I don't feel nearly as wrung out and exhausted as I did after a frustrating night trying to sleep... Plus, I have rather large boobs, and laying on my back always shoved them against my neck, I'd feel like I was being lightly strangled by a child all night. I miss sleeping with my hubby, but I've never been a cuddler during sleep, since I don't sleep much...

We snuggle first and then separate to sleep. Both are happy. A bit of #3 I guess? :)

Totally stage 5. Sometimes I wonder how my bf gets any sleep when he tells me what I did the night before. I sleepwalk, talk in my sleep or actually wake him up to tell him something is in the room/house etc. Not all in one night, but it's usually something like that :P And I rarely remember anything. Only when I'm sleepwalking. I've woken up when I was standing in the bathroom or in the living room. :p

This is so funny because it's so close to reality. My ex use to talk in his sleep, one night he woke me yelling about thumb screws...I should not have let him watch Saw II with me given that he didn't like gore lol.
