This Artist Mixes 3D Painting, Miniatures, And Sculpture In 66 Brilliant Works
Golsa Golchini’s art is hard to pin down in the best possible way. Born in Tehran and based in Italy, the artist works across painting, sculpture, photography, graffiti, and miniature illustration, often blending multiple techniques into a single piece. Whether she’s turning everyday objects into playful visual surprises, creating striking 3D compositions, or building tiny scenes with incredible precision, her work feels both technically impressive and immediately inviting. There’s a sense of curiosity running through everything she makes, as if each artwork is asking viewers to slow down, look closer, and enjoy the illusion. Some readers may also remember that we previously featured her hand-painted illusion art on Bored Panda, but this selection offers a broader look at just how inventive her portfolio really is.
That spirit is even more remarkable when you learn about Golchini’s journey. After studying at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan and winning recognition for her work, she faced a rare form of bone cancer that left her right arm immobilized for months. Instead of stepping away from art, she adapted, trained herself to work with her left hand, and eventually developed a new creative process using both hands. It’s a story that adds even more depth to an already fascinating body of work.
