I Create ‘3D Jelly Cakes’ That You’ll Probably Feel Sorry To Eat (New Pics)

I am a jelly artist who runs my own business called Jelly Alchemy. I create beautiful 3D jelly cakes using seaweed jelly and natural coloring.
I began my journey more than two years ago. Unfortunately, in late 2017 I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I had to put my business on hold as I had to undergo treatment. However, I was determined not to let cancer get in the way from doing what I loved. On the days when I was feeling well, I dedicated my time to create 3D jelly cakes for my team of doctors and carers.
During my battle with breast cancer, focusing on creating beautiful 3D jelly cakes helped to shift my focus away from the physical pain and negative thoughts. Moving forward, I hope to find ways to make this a meaningful career so that I can continue dedicating time to gifting this art form to others.
Every piece is created upside down and can take up to 4 hours to complete. The flowers are made petal by petal using an injection method with special tools. It takes a lot of creativity and patience to create each piece!
Aside from being beautiful, they are refreshing in taste. The 3D jelly cakes are infused with flavors like lychee, coconut, peach, rose etc.
The most satisfying part of my job besides showcasing my creativity is to be able to bring joy to others.

Now the other ones, I understand perfectly how you made them... but this one looks so purple from all angles, while the sides are still clear, and I don't understand how!
Absolutely stunning!! These are so gorgeous it does seem such a shame to eat them - though the flavours sound lovely too.
These are so pretty! I'm sorry about your cancer ❤️
Thanks! I am recovered now so it's all good.
Wow, your art is so beautiful it look like magic to me.
Do you have any videos of how you make them somewhere? Sooo amazing!
I am so happy that you have recovered. I would like to learn how you make these jelly cakes though. Honestly.
She said each one takes "up to 4 hours". I would have guessed days.... So beautiful!
