3-Year-Old Chooses Her Own Outfit For School Photos, Becomes Internet’s Hero
When 3-year-old Kaylieann Steinbach was told that she could choose her own outfit for school picture day, most people probably expected her to reach for her favorite dress. But as you can see from this awesome picture, Kaylieann didn’t pick a dress. She chose a Superman outfit instead!
It turns out that this little girl from Rocklin, California is quite the superhero fan. She owns several costumes including Spiderman, Batman, Hulk, Thor and Wonder Woman, but Superman is her favorite.
Her father Austin Steinbach, who shared the picture on Reddit, told the Huffington Post that she calls him “Pooterman” because her profound hearing loss stops her from hearing the letter “S”. Her parents offered her a number of outfit options for school picture day but Kaylieann rejected them all in favour of a considerably more super alternative. “She walked up, looked over each of her choices, turned and said ‘Pootergirl!’” Steinbach said. “And well, I couldn’t argue with that answer.” And neither can we. It's rare to find a 3 yr. old who knows what they want to wear. I applaud the parents for allowing Kaylieann to be herself. She's AWESOME!

i know a few kids like this, they are so cool, actually lots of kids would do this if their parents would let them.

This is Awesome! My 3 year old is the same. If we don't stop her she'd wear a different super hero outfit everyday of the week. I LOVE IT!

Awsome girl!! <3 She reminds me so much of my 3 year old son, he is just like that, he had an opinion about what to wear even before he could explain it with words! And he was speaking quite fluently by the age of 2,5!!! But it also requieres a certain amount of compromises and a lot of talking and explaining, as we live in Northern Europe and is quite cold here the most of the year. Right now it is about 2 degres celsius outside and he insists on wearing only a cool t-shirt and a pair of slippers :-D

Did they not buy the picture? None of these look like professional portraits. They should have uploaded the actual photo.

Firstly, that's supergirl, not superman. secondly, when I was that age I too wore my superman costume everywhere. A lot of kinder kids wear superhero suits all the time.
