I am in awe that he was up high enough to snap a beautiful photo. We never get to see them from this height... only from the ground looking up. I can't quit staring.
Hm...i thought they are put in pattetns that increase overall efficiency, aren't they usually? Nice shot nonetheless.

No Hans, each turbine only has 3 blades. These privately owned harness the energy created by the wind and generate electricity. The unused power is "sold" back to the utility supplier via the electrical grid. th-57d4569794ef8.jpg
Come to Germany. There's so many wind turbines here that the horizon looks like a barbed wire fence. A good third of them doesn't work either.
