We’re Going Places With Our Unique Travel Photos!

Hello!

That’s a word we hope you’ll be hearing a lot more often in the coming weeks, months and years. We’re Ryan and Lesley, a couple from the UK. We met at the age of 16 and have been travelling for over six years since!

Recently, as recently as November 2015 in fact, we finally had a ‘lightbulb’ moment and figured out an original way to document our journeys. We called it The Hello Series.

Before we go into detail, let us give you a little background information. On one of our first big trips together, we were taught about the importance of learning a few local phrases, as the locals really appreciate the effort. Naturally, we started with ‘hello’. Our concept (which you can see over on Instagram @thehelloseries), incorporates that idea in photo form.

Basically, one day, we bought a little whiteboard, took a trip to Edinburgh for our sixth anniversary, wrote ‘hello’ on the sign and started to take photos with it at famous landmarks. As we moved on to different countries with different languages, take Latvia for example, the word on the whiteboard changed to ‘cau’, or ‘hello’ in Latvian.

In the three-and-a-half months we’ve been operating, the feedback we’ve had has been incredible, and we’re constantly being told “you’re going to be the next #followmeto couple”. At the moment, we’re trying to get companies to see not where we’re currently at, but where we’re going, literally!

We’ve recently invested in some new equipment and have done a lot of research which means our photos will get better and better the more we travel, and we’d love for you to be a part of that.
