This Little Possum Was Wondering Around My Apartment Complex So I Saved Him

This poor baby possum was wondering around my apartment complex when I saw it. I originally went up to protect it since he was so small and we have so many dogs here in the complex alone. As he walked away I realized he had a serious injury on his foot so I knew I had to help.

I cornered him so he wouldn’t go anywhere till I could get him inside a little box. I asked my neighbour if she had a little box and we put Mighty in there. He didn’t bite, or make a single sound. He knew we were there to help.

We later brought in some towels to keep him warm since he was shivering cold. As well as give him some water since he is severely dehydrated and extremely malnourished.

Since then mighty has been in his towel sleeping while me and my pup look after him. We are waiting for the humane society to come pick him up so they can rehabilitate him.
