You may remember a post we did about Shamekh Bluwi, a Jordan-based architect and fashion illustrator who uses clouds, buildings, and whatever else he finds to decorate his cutout dresses. Well now he's back with more exquisite patterns, and as you can see, his fashion designs are as imaginative as ever.

Bluwi first got the inspiration for the idea during a trip to Dubai. Wanting to somehow incorporate his travel experiences into his fashion illustrations, he decided to capture the cities he visited by turning them into clothing designs. By holding the cutout against various landscapes, Bluwi can use a single template to create an infinite number of patterns ranging from water and sky to buildings and doorways. It's smart, it's resourceful, and it's fantastically creative despite its simplicity. See for yourself in the pictures below.

That "pink line" is actually called The Belt of Venus. Interesting that it was almost used as a real belt in this particular photo :)

Again, another dress that could truly sell in real life. I wish they would start making these to really wear.

This one is so exceptional, they could actually make a real outfit from that pattern. I wish they would!
