Why College Students And Old People Are Basically The Same Thing

Ahh, Ahh, Ahh, there is a huge difference between Intelligence(IQ) and Wisdom(Common Sense). One can be eaten up with intelligence and have very little common sense. You need to learn the difference, because it is important and profound. And if you will go back above, you will see that I only mentioned "Wiser", not "Smarter".

In other words, "Intellectual Maturity", and that almost always comes with age and experience. I stand by my point Daria. Its the same in Croatia as in the US. Please also read my explanation above.

John L., I think that the typical path of human intelligence is like a bell curve with naivete being the defining characteristic on both ends. Think about how both kids and seniors tend to have difficulty with believing everything online or in emails. And its is not because of stupidity, but rather lack of experience. With the way the world changes though, things like scam emails may not be a problem for older people in the future because they will have had prior experience. But something new will come along and befuddle us.

Spoken with the true impetuosity of youth. A college student usually has intimate knowledge of things immediately surrounding him/her, which qualifies that person for what? Further, as the saying goes, "We who forget our past mistakes, are doomed to repeat them", and it is a wise one to follow. Why do you think there are historians in universities? When you reach my age, you will understand. :D
