We all know it's a good idea to check the product reviews before buying something, whether it is a washing machine or a bottle of hair conditioner. Most people are used to seeing a 1-5 star rating next to inanimate objects, however, Oregon Zoo decided to put a twist on the usual format.

On Friday, they started celebrating the start of the weekend by posting humorous reviews of their animals as if they were ordered on Amazon. The lighthearted joke went viral instantly and other animal enthusiasts picked up the trend as well. Soon, zoos, aquariums, wildlife centers and even regular pet owners all over the world were sharing their own witty comments under the hashtag #rateaspecies. Scroll down to see what animals received five-star ratings and don't forget to vote and comment on your favorites!

"No Flip"? I'm not worried about that because: It Turns, it Spins, it Spirals. It Runs and Jumps. And, it Happily Hops and Bounces Beautifully. It manages to maneuver thru the water and on the land, it "Turns on a Dime". * [BONUS: Whistles & Chirps] * I'm Very Pleased with mine!

It's a sunfish. It's basically a floating head with fins stuck on and they get big enough for a human to stand on.

the only time i saw a bald eagle. it was in the middle of the road eating a roadkill groundhog. a couple years later, i was sitting in a small woods not being quiet. when a a wild turkey tom came walking out of a cornfield into the woods. he walked straight for me never wavering, stopping maybe 10 ft. in front of me. he tilted his head one way and then the other. then he straightened up, looked me in the eyes, puffed up his chest and let me have it. GOBBLE,GOBBLE,GOOBLE!" he proceeded to walk out of the woods and into the next cornfield. as i watched him leave. i thought to myself. " great, i saw our national bird eating roadkill and now i just got cussed out by a turkey". " Ben Franklin was right, we got the wrong bird".

state of Texas amphibian. Endangered species. Fire ants wiped it out, as well as farming inappropriately, devestating natural habitat. used to be quite plentiful and a favorite device of young boys for scaring away girls. Will go to sleep when placed on it's back cradled in the palm and tummy stroked.
