If you look closely you can see they contoured her nose. By tilting her chin down it also lessened the squareness of the chin. Well said Gabi and Gayle, I also wish people would read the intro and think before posting anything negative as I've worked in media and the makeup artist does this for free to boost the confidence of victims and sick women. This publication would need the makeup artists permission to use these images and in turn, she will get the permission of these women? As they are not famous and do not get their images published every day and agreed to have their image used for this they will almost certainly see this and read the comments. I'm hoping these commenters don't realise this and leave their disgusting comments anyway. I wish people were more aware of this fact as I've seen people posting jokes about someone that killed themselves on a news article and then seen the mother respond. People should be aware that if something tragic happens the family will read the local news story and comments. It's common sense to me but either they do not care or have not thought about it.

Her eyes and eyebrows in the before photo are already lovely and need only a little extra enhancement, certainly not thick fakes lashes. Is she expected to wear them every time she steps out of her home? With such sensitive skin as it says she has, it would be better to find another way to treat her skin rather than using heavy makeup which would only worsen it over time.

I've noticed that the after-photos are subtly less focused (a little blurry) in those problem areas. When concealer and contouring are done well, the skin looks smoothed. Unfortunately, the best effects are seen at certain angles and lighting. When the face is viewed at all angles and in different lighting, it becomes apparent and darker and lighter areas will show.

Every lady should have a "glamour Makeup and photo shoot" done at least once in her life. Remember in the 90's when we went to those shops (in the US) and had Glamour Shots? I did it and they made me look like Elisabeth Taylor (in her young yrs) *L* I still have them and they make me smile every time I see them. I was soooo Hollywood! Even if just for a day it was great! Now I have lasting memories of it like these ladies do. Nothing wrong with that!

Unlike the majority of makeup transformation stories, this is a rare instance of the artist truly bringing out the inner beauty of her clients. Their essence shines through with both before and after pics - so often the after pics are unrecognizable, but this artist's talent lies in coaxing out the goddess within each of these women. A woman does not wear make-up to please those around her she wears it to please herself. Self acceptance is key. O only wear make-up when I'm going somewhere special.. most other days a bit of lipstick is all.. my face is far from perfect , I suffer acne now after having my last child and it bad , and I'm scarred but I choose to show that I am confident either way

While I understand the idea behind the self confidence boost, most of these transformations aren't natural looking. Makeup is so heavy they look like plastic Barbie dolls. I have to wonder how the acne sufferers skin held up to being smothered, and hope those ladies don't make a habit of this heavy application, or they'll find themselves covering scars too. Self esteem shouldn't come from a bottle but from the people who love us and from our accomplishments, even though society tells us differently.

Unlike the majority of makeup transformation stories, this is a rare instance of the artist truly bringing out the inner beauty of her clients. Their essence shines through with both before and after pics - so often the after pics are unrecognizable, but this artist's talent lies in coaxing out the goddess within each of these women. What a gift!

I don't support these. They make people believe that they have to wear makeup to look beautiful, which isn't true. When they wear the makeup, it's like they are trying to hide who they are and as a result look like they have had plastic surgery.

A woman does not wear make-up to please those around her she wears it to please herself. Self acceptance is key. O only wear make-up when I'm going somewhere special.. most other days a bit of lipstick is all.. my face is far from perfect , I suffer acne now after having my last child and it bad , and I'm scarred but I choose to show that I am confident either way

While I understand the idea behind the self confidence boost, most of these transformations aren't natural looking. Makeup is so heavy they look like plastic Barbie dolls. I have to wonder how the acne sufferers skin held up to being smothered, and hope those ladies don't make a habit of this heavy application, or they'll find themselves covering scars too. Self esteem shouldn't come from a bottle but from the people who love us and from our accomplishments, even though society tells us differently.
