I dont know if this is fake but i am never gonna get close to that stuff ever again.
So were there baby squids or spermatophores? Babies would have come from a female and spermatophores would have come from a male. If the spermatophores came from what was "gifted" to the female then there wouldn't have been any babies yet. This video story sounds hokey.
