Why Maine Coon Cats Are So Cool

Today I wanted to celebrate my love for a very special cat, her name is Thula and she has been my daughters best friend for 2 years now helping her through many challenges.

My little girl, Iris is on the Autistic Spectrum, she found life overwhelming, distressing and she stayed mostly silent in her own world but with the help from this incredible Maine Coon cat life has changed forever for our family. I’m so grateful to her for that. Thula is affectionate, loyal and adventurous proving how different really is brilliant.

Aw so sweet! I'm on the autism spectrum as well, and my orange tabby, Bonito, is always there to calm em down when I get nervous.

When I was 8 years old my parents let me get another pet (we already had dogs but I wanted something different) and they took me to an animal shelter, originally I wanted some bunnies, I never really liked cats, especially orange ones because if orebuous experiences, but then I met a 1 year old, hairless Maine C**n named Simba, the shelter worker said he had been abused and that one day his fur would grow back, well I looked into his eyes and I just felt like this was the one, so we adopted him, his fur grew back eventually and he's beautiful and orange, I'm 16 now and Simba is still here, es been with me through a lot of my childhood and through that time I realized that cats are amazing animals who can love, just because of a bad experience I had with ONE cat I assumed all cats were mean, I now know they aren't and it's a thanks to Simba
