When She’s Not In The Skies She’s Raising Butterflies :)

So this friend of mine, based in Islamabad, is a skydiver in Dubai with a unique hobby!
When she’s visiting home during off season ‘She Raise Butterflies’ and I call her a Butterfly Princess. Let me share her unique story!

When she is not skydiving in Dubai she’s raising Caterpillars in Islamabad

Her butterflies stick to her for hours before they fly away…

‘Fly like a butterfly’ is definitely a song for her

‘After their emergence I take them out in my garden and release them… and they just fly away’ she says!

It actually started out as conserving nature… She adds, such caterpillars are chugged out because they destroy lemon n lime plants so to save my plants, I pick out all the leaves with eggs as well as the caterpillars!

That’s how I started raising them, saving the plants, eggs and the caterpillars , she says with a smile

I feed them the same leaves I rescue them from saving rest of the plant and them!

‘No one destroys my lemon plants and no caterpillar has to die’

And they disappear in their cocoons for days!

Can’t describe the feeling when they are out as Butterflies!

Sometimes I wonder if they remember me from the caterpillar days

Some would stay with me for hours before launching themselves in the wind. One stayed until nightfall until I urged the butterfly to fly away.
