Hello guys and gals! 👋🏻 If any of you have read my bio, you saw that I wrote I am a music lover. And that's true! I listen to a variety of different genres from different time periods. But I'm old school all the way, 95% of the time I listen to music from before 2010 and 90% of the time I listen to music from before 2000 xD The farthest I go back is to the 30's, but my favorites are from the 50's-80's; that's what I mostly listen to. Yup. I'm an Oldies dude xD Oldies and Classic Rock/Metal (prefer the Hard 'n' Heavy stuff). What a combo, huh? 😆😂 Well what about you?? What kind of music do you's like? And what's the farthest you's go back to? DO NOT feel embarrassed to post what your taste is, there's no judgment here. And besides, music is life 🙏

I listen to tons of stuff. Currently enjoying angsty party/dance music. At least thatâs what I call it in my head. Simple Creatures and The Wrecks. I also listen to Bowling For Soup, Blink 182 and Sum 41. Classic rock. Oh and Slipknot. Mushroomhead. Otis Redding. Smokey Robinson. Temptations. CKY. Glorious Sons. I Fight Dragons. Eve 6. Zebrahead. Stacked Like Pancakes. I sometimes listen to the emo music I liked as a teenager and laugh at myself too. Lol. I donât know what artists are popular though. I only listen to my playlist. Canât stand country music or metal. My husband is super into metal music and I hate it. He says he likes Super Famous Funtime Guys all the time (rap-ish).
Well hello Kyndal! :D Thank you for commenting on another one of my posts! They closed that last one, so no one can comment on it anymore now đ You kind of remind me of me lol you go all over the place with your music, as I'm the same way with mine xD You have GREAT taste, that's for sure. You named artists I f*****g love with a passion and it's so good to know others (like yourself) appreciate those artists/genres đ The Rock 'n' Roller that I am, I love MushroomHead, imho the best album they did was their 2014 album, can't think of the name of it. It might've been Righteous Butterfly, or something like that. You definitely know it. Most of my favorite songs from this band came off that album, "We are the truth", "Our apologies", "Qwerty", "Out of my mind", "Son of 7" and "This fallen Reign", if that's the correct name of it. I also like "Burn" and "I'll die for you". The group is similar to (and in friendly competition with) Slipknot. Slipknot is alright, but I'm a MushroomHead all the way
I love Mushroomhead. They play often at a local bar around here. My favorite Mushroomhead songs are "Qwerty", "Kill Tomorrow", "Never Let It Go", and "Sun Doesn't Rise".
Load More Replies...Itâs post-punk and goth-rock/dark wave for me, mostly of the 80s (the Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Anne Clark, Sisters of Mercy, etc), and I also love EBM (DAF, Absolute Body Control, Haujobb, etc) and Electro/Industrial (Suicide Commando, Hocico, Frontline Assembly, etc).
I respect your taste in music and you got me curious like curious George about that 80's post punk and goth rock/dark wave stuff, I'm pretty sure I already know some, as I know The Cure and Siouxsie and the Banshees, but when I have the time I'll dig a little deeper into it; it's always a treat hearing songs I've never heard before! Thank you for commenting :) Goodnight/good morning
Thanks for your nice comment! I hope youâll find some songs you like, but most importantly: Always rock on! đ€
Load More Replies...Very mixed but a lot of rap, rock ânâ roll, hard rock, indie, soundtracks and jazz
I usually listen to pop music and more moody sounding music (not sure what genre that would be). Some of my favorite artists are Cavetown, Girl in Red (i know really steriotypical, lol) , Bea Miller, and Olivia O'Brian
Moody sounding music can be any genre, really; you have songs like that in almost all of them. I've heard of Cavetown, I know the name. But I don't know their songs xD I'll be giving them a listen, the other artists you mentioned I don't know either, I'll be giving them a listen as well đđ»
21 poilots. It's a band and they are slowly becoming popular. They have been my favorite since i was 7
I have an affinity for Christian music. I feel good when I surround myself with Godâs love. When Iâm feeling nostalgic I listen to prog rock.
Ahhh one of the Founding Fathers of Prog Rock right there, good taste youâve got there and thank you for commenting
Load More Replies...Some Christian music I've heard sounded absolutely beautiful, and hit home for me. So, yeah, I do like some. I'm glad listening to it gives you a sense of comfort :) Progressive Rock I mostly listen to from "back in the day" lol, 60's-70's. I'm not big on it but I do like some of it. My go-to band for Prog Rock? Jethro Tull
Honestly depends on the mood. I do tend to lean more towards Nu Metal and Rock. However I also listen to pop, country, classic rock, R&B etc.
I love your taste in music! Nu-Metal is one of my favorite Metal subgenres, especially when it's Hip-Hop flavoredđđ»đ„đ„
Honestly I love almost all music but I did try to narrow it down for the post. XD
Load More Replies...I shared my list with you! But for other readers who might want to know me, I'm into a mix of things. I like a little of everything. Anything catchy or singable, I might like it! I used to be really into Green Day and System of a Down, but my taste sort of fizzled out for music for a while until I started to love it again! Trance, Pop, Rock, Punk, even a little rap and country... I just appreciate all kinds of music - music is great energy!
