We've been taking care of this affectionate cat we're calling Baba Yaga for the past few weeks. We're looking for the owners, but haven't found any yet. Not that I mind, because what a sweet boy! Our other cat Cinder has been reclusive since we brought him in. Baba has been sleeping in our bedroom and Cinder has been hiding in the other one. This morning I woke up and my boyfriend is watching TV, with Baba Yaga sprawled out on his belly and Cinder jumped and layed on me, just inches away from the new invader. It's a small step, but it made me smile.

    When my first text of the day was from my boyfriend. He texts me every morning before he leaves for work because we won't see each other until we both get off work in the evening. I love that my first message of the day is from him.
