It could be meant for you, not meant for you. Something you were not meant to remember, or vise-versa.

“that was out of pocket (my name)”

The last thing that my ex best friend said before we fought and before she ripped me from all my other friends because of something stupid I did 5 years ago to a girl who literally doesn’t live in our state anymore.

Three years out of an 18 year marriage, I was not looking to date but an acquaintance asked me if I could give her a lift, I picked her up at her friends and she introduced me to some guy who was there, he came along to the ride, we dropped her off and it was like we had known eachother forever. He tells me his wife left with the kids like 6 weeks before so even with my disappointment I told myself that he will probably make up for it her. It was surreal that day but we ended up hanging out at his house for 3 days just finding out the massive stuff in common we had, we were like long lost lovers. So we were inseparable from that moment, but I kept telling him that if he got the chance he needs to try with his wife, I didn’t want to be the woman who destroyed his family. It didn’t come up much at first then 3 weeks later he filed for divorce, I was upset because the didn’t even talk, and it bothered me, so during the court appearances he didn’t tell me much and I knew it was painful, and of course a few months later we split, he called me 6 months later, and I flew to him I missed him so much, so he gradually opened up his feelings and admitted that I was the reason he filed. I was so livid, because I was adamant we met too soon and I wanted what was best for him even if I lost him, but I still feel that I must have been to him what he was to me, the love of my life and it was a bittersweet feeling to be that loved that he gave up 20 years because we were meant to walk this world together. Please don’t judge me, or especially it came out that his oldest daughter was not his. It’s been a couple of years and I still feel guilty and treasured at the same time

Wow. I had to read it twice to make sure I got it right.

My father, as I was packing for my first year of college, told me “If you get the chance to try pot, do it. Just so you know what it’s like. But just once. Once.”

no matter what you're about to do, always think of the worst case scenario, then decide if it's really worth it.
