Australia doesn't get mentioned a lot on bored panda (why are the comparisons always the US and Europe? There are whole other continents out there, let alone countries) so I am wondering if there is something about Australia you want to know but have never asked.

there are not as many as people say there are, I only see big spiders very rarely and the big spiders are mostly huntsman which are harmless, i'm not sure about rural areas though. spiders are probably more common there

We're used to it I guess? Actually it's not that dangerous if you pay attention to where you are. Like you wear long pants and covered shoes if you go bushwalking and don't annoy wildlife. More dangerous than the animals is the weather, because it is unpredictable, but many countries are getting that in recent years.

I personally love Vegemite, but I can understand why others don't. It helps if you spread it thinner than you would jam/peanut butter. Best on toast where the butter is melted perfectly.
