What Are Some Good History Books That You Would Recommend?

I love learning history, but haven't been reading as much lately and want to get back into it.

I've mainly read ones about kings and queens etc. Anything by Alison Weir is good- I read one about Mary Boleyn and one about Elinor of Aquitaine. Also Catherine de Medici by Leonie Frieda and Queen Victoria: her life and times by Cecil Woodham-Smith.
