15 Uncomfortable Cartoons About Weddings That People Getting Married Won’t Like

Sometimes I'm asked, "If you're married, why don't you wear a wedding ring?" And I'm like... Why should I? I never deemed it neccessary, I don't even have one, since our marriage had no wedding (just documents). It's all nice amd cool if you choose to wear it because, for example, you like the design of it, you're so in love you want thw world to see etc., but why put pressure on somebody to wear it? It makes me think people need a mark to let others know, so they are not approached by any other man/woman. Because, you know, words don't mean what they're semantically supposed to mean (such as "no" for example). It's absurd.

I can see this, and have heard stories of friends being in the wedding party, and then after the stress of the entire operation, from announcement to the end of the reception, they become no longer friends.

I personally hate the idea of parents planning their child's weddings. I think it's about the soon-to-be husband and wife, and they should plan it how they want it. After all, people can leave their parents without a wedding.

It is a sad fact that certain individuals do consider it their 'special year' exclusively , i.e. no one else is allowed to even get married in 'their year'. My sister-in-law was told this by her fiance's soon-to-be stepmother. Yes, his soon-to-be stepmother. SMH.

I don't find these very relatable, except for one or two. The others just make me sad for people who are in these situations.

Well, loads of people marry because they believe in "love" (i.e. unreasonable passion) and not in actual "love" (i.e. mainly trust). One is very short lived and the other one can last forever. Oh and also we live in a very individualistic society, in which marriage is more of a commodity than an actual commitment...

I'm not a big fan of these. The art work is adorable, but the message is kind of depressing. I love being married, my sweet husband is the best thing to ever happen to me. It's not always easy, but marriage is just hard work. You get what you put in.

I don't really like this. They were kinda funny, but anyone who secretly feels this way, shouldn't get married. We eloped specifically to avoid all of the debt, drama, judgement, and negativity that can come with a wedding. I was excited to marry my wife. We wanted a marriage, not a wedding. It's just the 2 of you when the party's over, and if you already have doubts, or fears, don't do it. This whole new age "practice marriage" stuff is beyond me.

Hey if these are relatable, it's time for you to change the world around you. You should never expect divorce, your parents and/or inlaws should never pressure you or ignore your wishes, you shouldn't cheat, you shouldn't feel imprisoned by marriage, and you definitely shouldn't hate or distrust your partner. Leave the marriage is a prison troupe to TV. It's your life, you deserve happiness, and if marriage or your partner is hindering that, then change it.

I suspect the artist went through a bitter divorce or is tired of seeing all of his friends find love and get married leaving him alone.

I'm officiating a wedding in a few weeks... I wish I had gone to law school and became a divorce lawyer instead of a counselor. Then I could marry them and split them up in one swoop. #iknowimawful

… and cash in twice ? Why don't you start "All out Concept Weddings". Tie the knot in the morning, have a great reception (there goes the cash register bell again), get enough evidence by the surveillance team - and have it used in the divorce session in the evening.
