Wearable Wooden Bags That I Cross-Stitch With Nature Patterns

GRAV GRAV is an Istanbul-based woodworking studio. Inspired by nature, I create uniquely spirited wooden bags, handcrafted with natural materials like walnut, oak and beech. Wooden purses, clutches and backpacks are adorned with needlepoint, embroidery and leather details. Each item is a piece of wearable art.

In my designs, I tried to connect both of traditional and modern ideas but don’t break up with current fashion forms. In my opinion, wood and leather show us a perfect match. They have a great harmony. Also, I would like to remind traditional and nostalgic cross stitch to upgrade current fashion. I use only nature patterns on the bags.

I use oak, walnut and beech wood. I think every tree’s texture has its unique story and it embodies the soul of nature. I am enchanted by this magic!
