We Reinvented The Brick Into This Mesmerizing Kinetic Facade
We spent the last 5 months crafting a completely new medium from scratch called Brixels. We’re a small studio of 6 in Brooklyn called BREAKFAST. We designed everything for Brixels, from the circuit boards up to the software. It almost killed us.
We hope to begin building public art pieces and architectural facades out of them.

Consider this: Each Brixel has it's own micro CPU and screen on one or both sides and has a video camera on the other (or both sides). This works in conjunction with the main CPU to create a wall that can become nearly invisible, a window into another world, or any series of visually creative systems. The sky is the limit with this type of thinking, very cool and hopefully very profitable for you! Good luck.
