Tokyo is one of my favorite cities in the world. During my last visit this October, I decided to walk 100 kilometers over the course of 3 days. It was absolutely amazing!
I wanted to explore Tokyo in the right way
So I walked 100 kilometers in 3 days
I explored pretty much every area in Tokyo and…
Got a warm free hug
This guy was standing in Shibuya for the whole day offering people free hugs with nothing in return. Amazing!
Ate tons of wonderful sushi
This is by far my favorite restaurant in Tokyo – a sushi ‘train’ restaurant where you order everything on the screen and it comes literally on a small train which you send back to the kitchen by pressing a yellow button.
Spent a lot of time in Tokyo’s breath-taking parks
Oh, the parks! Tokyo has by far some of the best parks in the world.
Drank liters of weirdly named beverages
Pocari Sweat is pretty self-explanatory I’d say…
Checked out a few of the over-crowded temples
Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa: remarkable but totally over-crowded.
And couldn’t resist sleeping in one of the famous Capsule Hotels
I absolutely adore Capsule Hotels which are in every major city in Japan. They cost anywhere from $30 and up, but they’re definitely worth a visit!
