495Kviews
If you have ever traveled by plane, you probably already know just how many things can go wrong. From airline food to crying babies – the struggle is real. That’s why illustrator Christoph Niemann (previously here) decided to draw his flight from New York to Berlin for the the New York Times.
Christoph Niemann is an accomplished illustrator and author. His work has appeared on the covers The New Yorker, Time, Wired and The New York Times. Since 2008, Niemann has been writing and illustrating for the New York Times.
When Niemann is not drawing cartoons for the New York Times, he creates clever illustrations using everyday objects that he calls “Sunday Sketches.”

I contemplate the little hole as well! All the times! xD
That little hole is there for stabilization of pressure inside and outside of a plane. Sorry for bad English :) =
No, it's supposed to equalize pressure between the inside of the window and the cabin. The outside of the plane has nothing to do with it. If it stabilized pressure with the outside, you'd suffer explosive decompression.
i think it was great English. and yes without the hole the pressure would be 3.3 pounds and that is too low for you to be able to stay conscious so the holes made it regulate it to 8.5 pounds of pressure
what hole do you speak of?
That was my favorite!
Hilarious!
These are so funny, but of course, 100% true!
