There Is A Lake In Finland, That Looks Like Finland
In case you're wondering, because I looked it up immediately when I had learned about it: It's manmade, was made in 1991, is 116 meters long, and a 1:10,000 scale of Finland! The construction engineer was Esko Sääskilahti. It was going to be the Centerpoint of a tourist village, but that part was never completed. The lake took a week to excavate. This map is false. Tunisia does not have any foreign military base on it's soil.
Many of these bases are not true bases. Poland is 700 Airmen on an annex of the Polish Air Force base for example. Come countries bases are less than 50 military personel for example. It's a very loose definition of "base". In Australia the US has no bases of their own, just Annexes of Australian Bases at the invitation of the Australia for example. Also they have Israel on this list, the US does not currently have a base in Israel, nor have they ever had, what they have is a CIA listening outpost (Not Military), the US stores equipment at 2 Israeli bases as regional depots, but no US soldiers there, and in 2017 the US Signed a deal with Israel to create the first ever US military contingent in Israel at the Israel Defense Forces Air Defense School to help train US military personnel on the Iron Dome system as the US arming the military with a lot of them, however it hasnt actually opened yet, its just a agreement on paper to open one.
Poland & the Baltics all have US presence there too. We set up in Poland nearly 20 years ago.
