Now that our vacation plans have fallen through because of the coronavirus pandemic, some of us are a bit sad. However, we have something that might just cheer you (and us) up! Bored Panda has created a list of the most unsuccessful travel pics that show that even the best-planned vacations can end up as fails.

Scroll down, upvote your faves, and let us know in the comments where you planned to travel this year before the coronavirus outbreak. Check out part 1 of our vacation fail photos right here.

Traveling and going on holiday during the pandemic is inadvisable because you risk catching and spreading the virus. So it’s fine daydreaming about your holidays, but you should postpone them until we’ve overcome this health crisis. Fortunately, some airlines like British Airways, EasyJet, and Virgin Atlantic are letting passengers rebook flights for free.

I'm from Hawaii, Oahu to be honest. Haleakala is a spiritual place for Hawaiian people. Even I feel something special when I would visit (I am part Hawaiian/ Chinese/). It has nene geese and silver sword (native) plants that make Haleakala a very special and beautiful place. Thank you for showing me my home that I miss very much!!

I checked it right away but he struggled enough with the touch screen that I didn't ask him to take another. I think I was walking toward him to help him with the camera and CLICK. Too late. He was such a nice old man as well. He put so much effort in to trying to work that touch screen. Bless.

Reminds me of a taxi customer I had. A man in his 70's came out of the hospital with his leg in a cast and loaded down with hiking equipment. The poor guy had hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine, 2,200 miles, alone. He made it as far as New York where the trail runs through my county, Rockland. He had fallen and broke his leg with about 3/4 of the hike done. All Summer long. No breaks except for supplies. That ended the whole trek right there. I felt so bad for him...

They weren't native San Franciscans. It's almost always foggy until 10 or 11am. Then it clears up until 3:30 or 4:00, when it gets really windy and the fog comes back in.

Look at that fog, it's like it came in on on little cat feet and is now sitting and looking over harbor and city on silent haunches. Unfortunately it refuses to move on.

Unfortunately, not all airline companies are the same when it comes to treating their customers well. For example, Ryanair has been accused of “ripping off passengers” when it became apparent it was charging 80 pounds more for some individuals to rebook canceled flights.

While Wizz Air was still charging passengers to rebook flights to Bulgaria and Hungary even though both countries closed their borders.

Ryanair has already grounded most of its flights and said it doesn’t expect to operate any of them in April or May. But in a surprise twist, the company will allow governments to use its airplanes for rescue and other flights. Ryanair told people not to call their customer support hotlines because they have less staff available to deal with the fallout.

Hopefully, everyone can get the refunds they deserve and we can all go on holiday when the coronavirus outbreak is suppressed. Let’s just hope our vacations then won’t be fails!

The bark is not painted. It's a species of tree whose bark is several different colors depending on the nutrients in the soil.

I Was In New York For The First Time In My Life

My wife and I spent almost 10 hours on a plane, crossed the Atlantic Ocean and flew 7,500 kilometres. We climbed the top of the rock to enjoy a view of Central Park. We had only one day in New York and this view will always be with us.

10 Years Ago I Climbed The Volcano Of Bali "Mount Agung" 4 Am In The Morning To See The Beautiful Sunrise

It was the very end of a 9 months backpacking trip, and I skipped an important and beautiful scuba diving lesson to do it. I had to get up at 3 am for the drive to reach the base of the volcano. My best friend and only travel companion at the time was too lazy to join me, leaving me alone with a Balinese guide that knew not a word of English.
We reached the end of the road at around halfway up the volcano with ~1½ hours left of steep hiking on wet rugged rocks.
In silence, the monolingual guide and I accented, and the higher we went, the more I realised how grossly I had underestimated the freezing temperatures at the top of the volcano - Not wearing any jacket at all.
We finally reached the top 15 minutes before the sunrise, inside a dense and moist cloud, giving us with a visibility of 5-10 meters (16-32 feet) and our cloth and skin utterly soaked.

Do you know why is Irish whiskey best in the world? Imagine that your nation is living for 2000 years somewhere, where you have every year 200 days of rain, 50 days of snow and 100 days of fog. You would learn to make a good booze by now too.

50 days of snow and 100 days of fog?! They're in areas that get the most snow and fog. Other parts of Ireland might get a couple of days of snow and maybe less than 20 days of fog a year

So, as a former resident of San Francisco, I will give you all a little tip. If you want to see the bridge, go in the spring or summer, and go between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm. Outside of that, the fog rolls in. And the fog in San Francisco is... AGRESSIVE.

Not doubting the authenticity but I'm laughing at the notion that many of those photos could literally have been taken by the side of the road--any road--and then sent to friends with the message that you went somewhere famous but it was too foggy to see anything. :)

You still wouldn't have seen Big Ben unless you climbed to the top of the clock tower. Big Ben is a bell inside.

It's not Big Ben. It's the Elizabeth Tower. Big Ben is the bell within the tower.
