They aren't ugly - they are cheap and quick jokes. Ugly Xmas jumpers take hours and hours to knit. You don't just slap on some crap on a jumper and call it an ugly Xmas jumper. That's cheating.
C'mon they're supposed to be ugly, eventhough some of them are actually nice. But anyway my point is, the uglier the better (funnier)!
