Grandfather Builds Epic 3-Story, 40Ft Treehouse For His Grandkids
Jay Hewitt is a handyman in Massachusetts who is definitely in the running for grandfather of the year. The experienced contractor is building an epic, 3-story, 40-foot-tall treehouse for his grandkids and family to enjoy.
Before his 5-year-old grandson and 4-year-old granddaughter were born, Hewitt said, “I wanted to build a treehouse for them. You’ve never seen a treehouse like the one I’m gonna build for them.” He had enjoyed a treehouse in his own childhood, “but it was basically a 4-by-8 sheet of plywood. I never dreamed that a treehouse would be anything like this.”
Hewitt began building the treehouse about a year ago. He currently intends to sell the entire property, but if he doesn’t find a buyer, he plans to continue expanding the treehouse.

Share on FacebookIf it's for the grandchildren, why sell? It's nice but actually more of a house built around a tree than a tree house.
the kids are too young to spent too much time in the tree house yet, give them a couple of years and you won't see them anymore....but in the treehouse!

Wonder how close the neighbors are, and how they feel about a tree house that massive!
Let's hope the state doesn't have an ordinance against the building of it ...
I don't think it should ever be sold outside the family. That is how big one man's love is for his grandchildren.
