There is a country that signed agreement with European Commission last year and agreed to build ecosystem through implementation of different common projects. The country where 50 Changemakers from 13 countries mapped out problems that share no borders.
The country that I visited for the last past 6 days. The country where I met 50 wonderful people who have the same vision like me- to make changes, to make social changes in the fields of education, climate change, health and gender inequality. People who already are inspiration for others, for their communities, people who are not recognised yet as professionals in the fields they work for as they should be.
The country where people met me with smile in every single step. The country where I met very diverse people, wonderful, smart, funny, open-heart people who I want to meet again and create much more than I had possibility to do. The country where noise and calmness goes together. The country that can be very different comparing to rest of World and very similar in some points. The country where people were very poor financially but had the richest souls ever. The country where I got known myself better. The country where culture, traditions are so powerful and deep that you have to know this country is relationship not rules orientated and communities are much more important than I was thinking before.
The country where nothing happened on time. The country where nothing went like was planned. The country where everything went with flow and that explained why some changes are so slow. The country where I became experimental rabbit and I haven’t known about it before. The country where I waited in the lobby of hotel for 8 hours to make check in. The country where staff brought me new pencil in the middle of writing instead of giving a pen. The country where “espresso” didn’t exist at all and strong black coffee was just brown liquid with the smell of coffee. The country where many staff worked in the reception of hotel but only two are able to answer you properly (other were sleeping with open eyes). The country where I was asking very politely and didn’t get responses but was enough one “Italian” scene and everything started to go in the right way and even quicker. The country where taxi driver stoped in the middle of way to change his uniform pants. The country where children slept in the bus stop just like that. The country where we bought fuel in the plastic bottle in the middle of night being a bit lost somewhere in Goa. The country where people are very flexible and without limits to their needs, even basic needs. The country where I was invited by people which I saw the first time in my life in their house and they shared sensitive stories about the social challenges they meet every day, about history, culture, traditions and future. The country where I shouldn’t be surprised if there is no water in the morning in hotel and I shouldn’t be surprised if there is no water at all in some places. The country where corruption rates are too high.
But, there is BUT!
The country where I would like to come again to implement what I have planned before arriving here the first time. The country I would like to visit again and meet the same people just in different places. The country where there is more much more potencial than it showed till now. The country where should come at least ones every single citizen of World. This country needs the highest level cooperation and networking like Europe or other part of the World needs. This country is where each of us can look for inspiration if there is lack of it inside ourselves. The country where I, you and everyone can raise awareness, open heart, mind and soul. The country where everything possible and depends on how patient I am going to be.
AND this country is called INDIA and I will come back again there to explore, to know, to learn, to meet, to develop and implement more!!!
