And the cabinets over the refrigerator are officially declared "NO MAN'S LAND" because there just ain't no way... Of course, the dust on the top of the fridge tells its own story. Being un-tall is no joke.

I may not be short, but my hips didn't expand in puberty (afab) and you have no clue how hard it is to find adult shorts and underwear that fit... someone should totally make a brand that sells elegant and fashionable clothing for people with small proportions!

Oh Alla thank you for writing this! I used to be 5'2" but now I'm 4'9" and everything you said is true! Hot tubs have molded-in seats that are so long my head goes underwater if I try to use them. Seat belts go across my neck instead of my chest. My feet don't touch the floor in any chair, including my wheelchair when I have to use it. You have my deepest sympathies! Maybe someday the world will account for us too 😭

4"11 these are all my problems. everyday someone will say "I didn't see you in the chair" and cannot count the number of times i've been trapped in the bank when the automatic doors wouldn't open for me

Thank you for making these! As a 4'10" woman, I feel like they were made just for me 🥰 However, there are some positives to being short and petite. I'm awesome at hide-and-seek, which means I'd be great at hiding from a home invader. Being petite also means I can get cheap clothes/shoes in the kids' department (although the style and fit isn't always great), my couches/beds will last longer because I'm not putting as much weight on them, and I have a smaller appetite so I spend less on food. Something that can be both positive and negative: people usually see me as non-threatening. Being short in a tall person's world isn't all bad 😸

When I was young and the tallest in my class (even counting the teachers) I used to envy those of smaller stature. I now see, that problems can occur to anyone who is not average, but then it was annoying, to not being able to buy jeans long enough by 8-9 cm, or a jacket with sleeves that didn't end above my wrists.
