Look into ways to collaborate with your ADHD without meds (I say collaborate because fighting it and refusing to accept that it’s a part of yourself won’t work, I know from experience). I recently started going off my meds cuz they give me too much anxiety so I’ve been looking into this. Get a physical planner and use it, set timers and turn off the snooze button. Get a watch because your sense of time is probably off, like mine. If you want to work on homework, listen to inspiring music to get yourself motivated, and/or tell your brain you’re only going to work on it for 2min and then if you still feel like not doing it, you can stop. Oftentimes it’s getting around to starting it that most people with ADHD struggle with, and when you actually start on it and get on a roll, you can work easily. It’s different for everyone, though. Also exercise can help tire out your brain so there isn’t as much pent-up energy.

I want to write a novel. Not to get published, although that would be good, but just for the accomplishment in of itself. I have trouble writing different characters. Eyither they are a Mary Sue character, or they just sound stupid.

I got 48/50 in bio, 36/50 in math. Today I had my art exam and we had to draw a marigold which was impossible so I free styled it. A guy in my class has been verbally harassing me in the form of pickup lines and I’m waiting for one more strike before reporting him to the teachers. I asked me crush if she was straight which she was and then she asked me why I asked her and I told her that I liked her. I don’t mind her being straight, I just don’t want the fact that I like her to affect our friendship now

One of my best friends is maybe dead. I haven’t heard from him in over 9 hours, and he sent a suicide note to me and a few other friends at like 1 am (PST) today (aug 7th), but he was still alive when I woke up. The last I heard of him he was visiting a friend in a nearby town. He refuses to call a hotline or go to therapy. Last time I heard from him was 1:42 pm and all the messages I’ve sent within the last 8 hours haven’t delivered so he might’ve blocked me. Another friend did call the police, and the police said they’d go talk to him tomorrow, but it might be too late by then. I’m away from my town until next Monday so I can’t even go see him for a week. I really don’t want him to die, but he might any way. I know it’s really selfish of me to want him to be alive when he doesn’t want to, but I can’t help it. He means a lot to me, even though I only met him less than two years ago. I haven’t seen him in a while either, because we live in different towns. I’m sorry for posting this, I barely know anyone here so you guys might not care, I just wanted to post this in case anyone did care.

SIX rocks as always. My friend is coming back tmrw and I have more volunteering so I'm doing okay, my instructor made fun of my voice and I'm feeling really bad at it cause I'm really worried that I might sound weird to other people and can't tell. I know I mumble when I'm not singing/not super excited and I talk really fast unless I'm really mentally down, but I thought that was the end of it. Idk I hate the idea that I might sound strange
