In my drawings and mixed media works, I explore the anxieties I have surrounding death, decay, and the future, the dynamic relationship between humans and nature. I create images and narratives of what I perceive to be both fleeting moments right before death and (possible) life after death depicted by the human figure, nature, and animals. I'm fascinated by the duality of animal and human life as they both exist together and die together in the world, as one.

I love your feathers! The way you make them reflective and all of the shading/hatching to get the proper lines for the bird, tell me how much time you spent on this. Your hands are also beautifully drawn!

I love how this is almost a smaller version of #3 Leftovers, just focusing on the hand! Really intricate drawing.

I love this one! The color makes it pop. At first, when I was scrolling, I just saw the flowers, and it was very beautiful, but then the skull came into view and it makes it almost eerie. Did you use watercolor as your medium? Or a mix of watercolor and pencil? Either way, it's marvelous.
