With Spring around the corner I know I am excited to be planting some new flowers. There is nothing more wonderful than watching a beautiful flower bloom. Here are some very hardy perennials that will multiply and also keep coming back year after year. If you get too many you can always give some away to a friend, which is how I got most of mine.

    Pink and Yellow Crane’s Bill

    This perennial multiplies quickly and is great for edging. It is called Crane’s Bill because its seed pods look like a long bill of a crane.

    Spiderwort

    Beautiful deep purple blooms.

    Daffodils

    My son with a bunch of ours that he helped himself to. Picking flowers is part of the fun of having them. A nice bouquet makes a brilliant centerpiece to any table.

    Purple Pink Phlox

    A bright spring bloomer that climbs and edges.

    A stunning perennial that vines beautifully up a mailbox or trellis, and comes back each year. Don’t tear down their vines in the fall because they will get even bigger and bushier if you leave them alone.

    Yellow Yarrow

    An extremely hardy flower that blooms all season. This flower multiplies quickly and abundantly and can survive the most extreme droughts or rainy bouts.

    Pink Yarrow

    The pink variety of the very hardy flower.

    Black Eyed Susans

    A very abundant and hardy perennial that adds vivid yellows to your yard or garden.

    Balloon Flower

    A brilliant and unique flower begins its bloom as a balloon and spreads to a perfect 5 pointed star.

    This bright white miniature Clematis is a late bloomer on a vine that climbs anything it can find.

    These beauties are magnets for hummingbirds and butterflies, and great for bouquets.
