There’s A Genius Street Artist Running Loose In New York, And Let’s Hope Nobody Catches Him
American artist Tom Bob is running loose in the streets of New York, and let's hope nobody catches him.
Using street "furniture" like poles or electrical terminals, Tom creates colorful and whimsical pieces that interact with their surroundings. From turning a sewer into a frying pan, to transforming gas meters into quirky lobsters, Tom Bob is making the city a much happier place for everybody.

We these all over out streets last spring, I coiled four of them up and put a black locust seed pod in front to look like a serpents tongue. (used a black marker for eyes)

Wow, did Bored Panda delete my comments about #32? Look, I'm down with some good satire, humor that make you think. But an artist who thinks the only way to get their point across that the poles wearing rice patty hats are Chinese is to go squinty eye? Grossly offensive. I'll thank you for not deleting this comment b/c it's not fawning over your feel good post.

I've seen some of this art, I pass it everyday on my way to work. It's definitely NOT in New York. It's in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Let's get the location right and give credit to the artist and the city.

Uhm..... Not in New York. Unless they've moved the Hollywood Walk Of Fame (#40) then those pictures are just a collection of interesting street art. To credit one artist is just fake news.
