Today, I’d like to share a brief but meaningful work experience with you. Last monday my client suddenly asked about some issue that he did not convert something and its important to recover for their survey purpose and the task is (PNG to Excel conversion) I said cool it’s a very easy task for me, I am just saying without knowing anything about that doc. While conversion tasks aren’t typically my forte, I decided to take on a client’s project with confidence. I assured them that I would give it my best shot and communicate promptly if I encountered any challenges. Moreover, I committed to completing the task within their deadline, which happened today. And my client looks soo happy.
Now, here’s an exciting part of my journey I want to share. I hope it motivates you too. When I got the document by email, I felt really nervous opening it. I tried using different free online tools to convert it, but nothing worked. So, I started typing it out myself while looking for help on YouTube. But, no luck there either. It was tough, and I put in a lot of effort. Finally, I decided to send the files to our WhatsApp group, the one I mentioned earlier, the same there is no good result from it. Day before yesterday I completed almost 78 contact lists from a PNG file using a manual way. But it looks very annoying to me. Then yesterday I used a different method which is more relaxing than the previous way and convenient for me. Moreover, yesterday I completed almost 171 contacts using this method. But still a long way to go because my deadline is near and it is 16 May. In the meantime I am still searching for the fastest way to complete the task.
Finally, today, I decided to push my limits by utilizing some common tools, Google Lens, ChatGPT from OpenAI, Google Keep, and my Samsung Galaxy phone. I was pleasantly surprised when all these tools worked seamlessly together, leaving me to wonder why I hadn’t tried them sooner.
The moral of the story is, on online platforms, always strive to push beyond your limits before seeking assistance. Not only does this make learning new things easier, but whether you succeed or fail, the experience strengthens you.
