A woman has told how her mother might still be alive had she gone for chemotherapy. It’s not that she didn’t want to but rather, that her evil husband did everything in his power to block her from having any treatment. He apparently turned into a monster as soon as she was diagnosed.

The daughter firmly believes that her stepdad’s actions directly led to her mom’s untimely passing. She’s vowed to do everything she can to make him pay. She’s taken everything he owned, including his house, and she’s not done yet…

More and more people are refusing chemo, and experts are worried

Ovarian cancer claims more than 200,000 lives every year, and that number is set to rise by almost 70% by 2050. The danger of this type of cancer is that, because of vague symptoms, it’s often diagnosed way too late for patients to receive life-saving treatment.

There are four stages of ovarian cancer. Stage 1 indicates that the cancer is confined to the ovaries, while stage 4 is when the cancer has spread to other areas of the body.

Ovarian cancer is usually treated with a combination of surgery and chemotherapy. Chemo uses a range of medications to eradicate cancer cells within the body. It targets and destroys the cells that rapidly divide or mutate. But there can be some bad side effects, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hair loss, skin dryness or rashes.

According to Verywell Health, there’s a growing movement of people refusing chemotherapy for various types of cancers. But the site’s experts warn that not only is this irresponsible, it could also be life-altering, especially since many of those refusing treatment are doing so based on frightening misinformation they’ve read on the internet.

“Condemning personal experience stories are plastered over web pages and personal blogs, most of which exploit the fatigue, hair loss, and more distressing side effects that can be experienced while taking chemotherapy,” elaborates Verywell Health, stressing that not everyone suffers the extreme side effects that are commonly associated with chemo.

One of the reasons patients are refusing treatment is because of scary stories doing the rounds that chemotherapy is poison that originates from mustard gas.

Verywell’s experts say while this is “partly true,” science has advanced, and chemo treatments have improved since the days of doctors experimenting with mustard gas, or mustard nitrogen, during World War II.

“Although mustard nitrogen is still used in some treatments today, its application is much more controlled and refined,” states the site.

It adds that anyone who is considering refusing chemotherapy based on stories they’ve read should raise any concerns with their oncologist. These experts are trained in treating cancer and can provide information and advice based on evidence-based facts, not scare tactics.

It's easy to see he wouldn't let his wife have chemo because he wanted her to die, probably so he could get the house and sell it and there was life insurance with him as the beneficiary as well until the judge gave it to the daughter, so I'm sure that evil man was all about the money.

Why would they be able to strip his assets because he wasn't driving her to chemo? To me, this makes no sense.

Why didn't police/judge interfere when the husband was preventing her mother from accessing life saving treatments? Isn't that illegal?
